Obstetrics and Gynecology
The obstetrics and gynecology department is one of the active departments of Musa bin Jafar (AS) hospital. One of the characteristics of this department is its proximity to the maternity department. This department includes two public and private parts. A healthy newborn room to control newborns and implement the RI plan, and a room for patients under observation, including medical treatment, diabetes or pregnancy patients, etc. The presence of an equipped pre-eclampsia room for high blood pressure patients, the presence of experienced and skilled nurses and midwives in all shifts to control mothers. Pregnant women and control of post-partum and caesarean patients and a special nurse for normal newborns to control and teach breastfeeding and newborn control are the features of this department.
Patients who are non-cases, gynecological surgery patients, under pregnancy observation (eclampsia, high blood pressure, gestational diabetes). Common surgeries: cesarean section, natural delivery and painless delivery. Common surgeries: curettage, hysterectomy and gynecological surgeries.
